The United States Airforce and AFSOC defined an Urgent Operational Need (UON) to protect pilots from lasers while flying with Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
The Gentex team won a competitive contract to develop this laser protective device. Our unique solution meets user needs and leveraging 3D printed assemblies in production. The solution is currently being fielded.
